He was predeceased by: his parents, Gary Karkosh and Marlys Karkosh (Podhajsky); and his mother-in-law Shirley Houtman. He is survived by: his wife Sarah (Houtman); his children, Kyle Karkosh of Waterloo and Shane Karkosh (Maddie) of Hudson; his grandchild Sullivan; his brothers, Brian Karkosh of Traer and Kedric Karkosh (Robin) of Vinemont; his uncle Jared; and his aunt Kathryn Owen. He is also survived by many other aunts and uncles and cousins, along with Sarah's Dad, and her siblings.
A reception was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the Family Farm (12416 Hicks Rd, Hudson, IA 50643).
The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial funds be contributed to Creole Inc., or Preborn.
