Audrey Ehrig Obituary

In loving memory of Audrey Ehrig of Hudson, Iowa, born in Waterloo, Iowa, who departed this world on July 15, 2025 at the age of 86. Audrey leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Though Audrey may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Audrey touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Stein and Gladys Stein. She is survived by: her husband Virgil Ehrig of Hudson; her daughters, Brenda Flessner (Brent) of Mesa, AZ, Shelley Downing (Mark) of Urbandale, IA and Traci Goodale (Scott) of Colorado Springs, CO; and her grandchildren, Hunter Goodale (Holly) of Ashland, VA and Dalton Goodale of Clearfield, UT..

A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Community Church of Hudson (226 Eldora Rd, Hudson, IA 50643).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Mission Group at the Community Church of Hudson.
