He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Staack and Ruth Staack (Benham); his wife Patricia Hoffman; and his siblings, Janice Goetsch, Carol McKenna, Norma Smith, Jeanne Mazula and Harry Charles Staack.
He is survived by: his children, Laurie Jo Holbach (PJ) of Reinbeck and Jerrod Staack (Kari) of Janesville; and his sisters-in-law, Jean Clausen (Alan) of Hudson and Kat Jorstad of Colorado. He is also survived by six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial fund will be established.
