He is survived by: his wife Brenda Wetzel; his children, Eric Johnston (Aubrey) of Readlyn and Jenni Terrell (Eric) of Interlochen, MI; his stepchildren, Zachary Shields (Devin) of Cedar Falls, Amber Loy (Levi) of Cedar Falls, Jennifer Crosser, Bobbi Preston and Kyle Crosser; his grandchildren, Dominic, Ashton, Lacey, Lennox, Lainey, Sterling and Watson; his siblings, Rick Johnston (Kim), Brenda Miller (Kirk), Debbie Johnston, Pam Bier (Jerry), Susan Johnston-Woodward, Brian Johnston and Kristen Johnston; his stepsiblings, Donna Seehase, Darwin Seehase (Anita), Dawn Watkins (Rob) and Diana Seehase; and his pets, Bugsy, Penny and Piper.
