She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Carter and Dorothy Carter (White); her husband Russel; her children, Rosemary and Bruce; her great grandchildren, Noah and Riley; and her siblings, Colleen, Jack and Roberta.
She is survived by: her daughter Lee Ann Gutknecht (Donald) of Grimes; her grandchildren, Jeffrey (Janice), Kevin, Elizabeth (Daran), Stephanie and Shelley Fogt (Ken); her daughter Jean Polk (Mark Pinkerton) of Kerrville, TX; her grandchild Jamie (Mario); her son Mark Harberts (Rose); and her grandchildren, Jeremiah (Bethany) and Jenny (Daren). She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren, and seventeen great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Richardson Funeral Service (615 Main St, Cedar Falls, IA 50613). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Trinity Bible Church (125 Orchard Dr, Cedar Falls, IA 50613).
