As we bid Chalice farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Chalice is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Jonker and Alice Jonker (Oolman); and her husband Elroy J. Altena. She is survived by: her children, Deanna (Rob Wynia), Donna (Allen Kroeze), Dennis (Cindy Altena) and Lorri (Lyle Meendering). She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials will be given to the Hull Protestant Reformed Church.
