He was predeceased by: his great-grandparents, Henry, Hillie Hoekstra, Dick, Theo Keizer, Tim and Clarine Kooima.

He is survived by: his parents, Jesse Pollema and Michelle Pollema (Keizer) of Hull; his siblings, Johnny Dale, Lucy Mae and Jack Henry; his grandparents, Barry, Patty Pollema of Doon, John and Sharon Keizer of Hull; his aunts and uncles, Jacob, Janae Pollema of Rock Rapids, Ashley, Dillon Brummel of Hull, Jason, Carly Pollema of Alvord, Abby Pollema of Doon, Kim of Rock Valley, Michael De Jager of Rock Valley, Kerri of Rock Valley and Kyle Van Der Brink of Rock Valley; and his great-grandparents, Dale and Mary Pollema of Rock Valley.
