He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry W. Meerdink and Jennie Meerdink (Kline); his grandson Ryan Meerdink; his siblings, Edwin (Arlene Meerdink) and Evelyn (Bill Kamstra); and his brother-in-law John Zevenbergen.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Zevenbergen of Hull; his children, Robbie (Heidi Meerdink), Danny (Donna Meerdink) and Lori (Jeff Wilder); his grandchildren, Mark Meerdink, Nathan Meerdink, Zacharie Meerdink (Pam Vang), Shane Meerdink, Nolan Meerdink, Kara Meerdink (Marshall Cordes), Andy Geels (Emma Bales), Amanda Wilder (Collin Harris) and Alex Wilder; his great grandchild Marcus; and his siblings-in-law, Arlin (Dee Zevenbergen) and Marlene Zevenbergen. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the First Reformed Church. A reception will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials will be given to the First Reformed Church in Hull and Sioux Center Health Hospice and Home Care.
