He was predeceased by: his parents, Miles Torgerson and Marie Torgerson (Metzger); his brother Merrill Torgerson; and his nephews, Tony Torgerson and Tommy Torgerson.
He is survived by: his children, Trent Torgerson of Humboldt, Tekka Torgerson of Waterloo, Jamee Spigarelli (Victor) of Oklahoma City and Kasee Payne Valerius (Theotis) of Oklahoma City; his grandchildren, Tanner, Kat (Jesse), Khia, Justin, Jaylee, Dexter, Oliver and Zhana; and his siblings, Marcy Illg (Jim) and Dennis Torgerson (Colleen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home - Humboldt (612 2nd Ave S, Humboldt, IA 50548). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
