He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas Johnson and Elizabeth Johnson; and his wife Ginny. He is survived by : his children, Jennifer Reed (Gary), Lauri Hinners (Wade) and Chris Johnson (Alecia) of Ames; his grandchildren, Christian Reed, Katie Hansen (Alex), Ajay Reed, Ben Hinners, Sarah Hinners, Isabelle Johnson, Ava Johnson and Grant Johnson; and his brothers, Jerry Johnson (Jeanette) and Thomas Johnson (Janice).
