She is survived by: her husband Ron Julius; her children, Tracey Skjeveland (Hugh) of Lakeville, Kelly Prescott (Dave) of Lakeville, Landon Julius (Nicole) of Parkville and Brooke Lents (Ryan) of Huxley, Iowa; her grandchildren, Makena, Conner, Parker, Brayden, Nolan, Addison, Mason and Hailey; her siblings, Vicki Reutter (Gary), Paul Jennings (Rita), Jim Jennings (Sue), Brian Jennings (Pam) and Lynn Kenney; and her sister-in-law Luanne Julius.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions be made to the Mary Greeley Medical Center Foundation, in gratitude for the compassionate care Rita received throughout her illness, or to the Humboldt Recreation Center, in remembrance of the many happy hours she spent there playing pickleball and socializing with friends.
