With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Roger Eugene McNeill of Humboldt, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Roger left this world on June 2, 2025 at the age of 62, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Roger may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald McNeill and Lilian McNeill (Welch); and his stepdaughter Jessica Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Leslie Renken (Schorzmann); and his stepson Jordan Renken. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lentz Funeral Home - Humboldt (1210 3rd Ave N, Humboldt, IA 50548). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Livermore American Legion. He was a dedicated member of Team Livermore from its beginning to its end when COVID came and the team dismantled.
