She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Kuehnast and Esther Kuehnast (Friedrich); and her husband Herb Moench. She is survived by: her brothers, Don Kuehnast (Marilyn) and Daryl Kuehnast (Sharon); her children, Randy Moench (Connie), Julie Riessen (Mark) and Janet Strachan (Scott); and her grandchildren, Emmie Moench, Melanie Riley (Tom), Matt Moench (Jess), Jeremy Strachan (Shari), Andy Strachan (Hannah), Aaron Riessen (Sarah), Becca Dietz (Jared) and Morgan Prantner (Cody). She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (1005 11th Ave N, Humboldt, IA 50548). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
