She was predeceased by: her parents, John Harold and Mildred Pearl Smith (Armentrout); her husband Marion Dwight McCoy; and her son-in-law Lloyd Nyhus. She is survived by: her daughter Janice Nyhus; her grandchildren, Sheila Heinen (Tom), Jared Nyhus (Vanessa) and Angela Spaid (Rod); her great grandchildren, Tyler Nyhus-Nelson, Brant Spaid (Kati), Garret, Cole Heinen, Alexis Rogers (Dylan) and Abby Nyhus; her great great grandchildren, Erabella Spaid, Bastain and Adriann; and her siblings, Curtis Smith (Eunice) and LaVonna Smith. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Fjeldberg Lutheran Church – Music Memorial Fund.
