He was predeceased by : his father Norman Herbert. He is survived by : his mother Linda Lee Baker (Romp) of Ames; his wife Gina Colleen Lenz of Huxley; his children, Grant Baker (Maggie) of Richmond, IA, Sarah Baker (Simon Goheen) of Cumming, IA and Weston (Cassy Pina-Baker) of Bloomington, IL; his grandchildren, Azariah, Levi, Audrianna Baker, Rori and Paris Goheen; his sister Torie Hefel (Randy) of Maricopa, AZ; and his niece Rachel Hefel (Michael Ries) of Appleton, WI. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rasmusson-Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory - Nevada (1418 Fawcett Pkwy, Nevada, IA 50201, USA). A memorial service was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
