He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Kepler and Elizabeth Kepler (Hart). He is survived by: his wife Helen; his daughters, Laura Kepler of Des Moines, Amy Finnegan (Bill) and Carrie Ortega (Benjamin) of Pleasant Hill; his grandchildren, Braden, Ryan, Cooper, Zion, Desmond, Ijah and Evelyn; and his siblings, Chuck Kepler (Sheryl) of Arvada, CO, LeRoy Kepler (Joyce) of Nevada, IA and Carla Brownfield (Jerry) of Grove, OK. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Palestine Lutheran Church (1375 IA-210, Huxley, IA 50124). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Huxley Food Pantry, Palestine Cemetery, and Palestine Lutheran Church.
