She was predeceased by : her parents, Antone Ehrig and Clarissa Ehrig (Leliefeld); her siblings, Edgar "Red", Cyril "Zip", Leo, Rita, Robert "Rusty", Chuck, Lucille and Louise; her husband Merle Schumann; and her grandson Anthony.

She is survived by : her children, Peg, Peggy Geerdes (Dean) of Plano, TX, Jim Schumann (Connie) of Plano, TX, Rick Schumann (Linda) of Fort Worth, TX, Doug Schumann (Mary) of Omaha, NE and Karen Schumann-Arbegast of Ida Grove, IA.
