She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Smith and Stella Smith (Wright); her husband Bernie; and her siblings, Jack, Joe, Jerry, Lonnie, Bess and Jean.
She is survived by: her children, Brad Hansen (Therese) of Lake View, IA, Bruce Hansen (Marjean) of Odebolt, IA, Brenda Hansen of Odebolt and Darla Hansen of Sioux City, IA; her grandchildren, Breanna (Brett), Brandon, Courtney, Brett (Brandi), Erica and Haley (Paul); her great grandchildren, Corianna, Faith, Lance, Brylie, Bailey, Kenzie, Kamyrn and Karsyn; and her brother-in-law Walter Woebke. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Christensen-Van Houten Funeral Home (321 2nd St, Ida Grove, IA 51445).
