She was predeceased by: her husband William "Bill" Casey of Cecilia's Cathedral; her parents, Henry Mertens and Katie Mertens; her siblings, Ellen Rosmann (Ray), Virginia Thomas (Richard), Kathryn Casey (Frank) and Robert Mertens; and her grandson-in-law Jason Jaeger.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Casey of Tigard, Colleen Peach (Kevin) of Shelton and Becky Matthies (Dan) of Arnold's Park, Iowa.; her grandchildren, Lori Jaeger, Jenny Xayavongsa (Visith), Kathryn Reger (Izzy), Jacob Matthies (Saige), Jordan Feuchtenberger (Bennett) and JoAnna Matthies; her great grandchildren, Hannah, Laya, Mason, Emmett and Loretta; and her sister-in-law Jeanette Mertens of Fonda, Iowa. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
