He was loved and cherished by many people including: his significant other Mary E. Pyykola; his children, Kevin Hansen of Omaha, NE, Kim Schultz (Jeremy) of Bloomington, MN and Kyle Hansen (Bonita) of Ida Grove, IA; his grandchildren, Erica, Tyler, Austin, Dylan, Palmer and Sunny; his sisters, Linda and Marla of Milwaukee, WI; his parents, Sherwood and Helen; and his siblings, Jerry, Jimmy, Judy and Janet. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and a host of dear friends.

In lieu of flowers donations in honor of Wayne may be directed to his family.
