She was predeceased by : her parents, Glenn Henderson and Opal Elliott (Billick); her husband William Althaus, Jr.; her daughter Sandra Gibbs; and her siblings, Irene Brown, June Brandon, Rosie Althaus and Jimmy Elliott.

She is survived by : her son William "Bill" Althaus, III (Lisa) of Henrico, Virginia; and her brother Kenny Elliott (Jody) of Cedar Falls. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; many great-great grandchildren.
