We bid farewell to Beverley LeAnn Sprague of Independence, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 6, 2025 at the age of 92. Beverley touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leigh A. Rizer and Beulah L. Rizer (Morley); her husband Leland Sprague; her grandson Chad Smith; and her son-in-law George "Fred" Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Debbra Smith of Winthrop and Dennis Sprague (Patricia) of Independence; her grandchildren, Andy Smith (Alison), Brandon DePyper (Heather), Megan Miller (Daniel) and Mitchell Sprague (Keira); and her sisters, Betty Sheffert of Tama, IA, Bonnie Kayser of Center Point, IA and Berna Strathman (Lyle) of Cedar Rapids, IA. She is also survived by six step-grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren.
