He was predeceased by : his parents, Lyle Brown and Ada P. Brown (Price); his wife Nancy Brown; his daughters, Penny Bailey and Vicky Cornwell; and his siblings, Joyce Streeter, Sharon Coal, Janet Noethe, Tom and Albert Brown.
He is survived by : his children, Charles Brown (Ruth) of Dubuque, IA, Michael Brown (Joan) of Brandon, IA, Daniel Brown (Wendy) of Winthrop, IA, Darrell Brown (Christine) of Independence, IA, Steven Brown of Independence, IA, Laurie Brown (Jeff McDonald) of Quasqueton, IA, Peggy Mikesell (John Fennern) of Cedar Rapids, IA, Tonya McGonicle (Billy) of Cedar Falls, IA and Shawn Brown of Independence, IA; and his siblings, Ronald Brown (Judy) of Bowling Brook, IL and Irene Pyle of Knoxville, TN. He is also survived by thirty-nine grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Spring Grove Cemetery.
