He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Conerd and Neva Conerd (Murphy); and his siblings, Richard, Jim, Earl, Dave Conerd, Gery McCraney, Jean Timmerman, Norma Drake-Martin, Sherly McCord and Nancy Henly-Robbins.
He is survived by: his wife Agnes Conerd of Independence, Iowa; his children, Gene Conerd (Stacy) of Hazelton, Andrea Heller (Dan) of Colesburg, Eric Conerd of Cedar Falls and Daniel Conerd of Candler; and his sisters-in-law, Carol Conerd and Christine Conerd. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren.
