He is survived by: his children, Paul Gaffney (Ann) of Ames, Sherryl Paige (Ellis) of Marion and Patrick Gaffney (Shelley Booth) of Waukee; his grandchildren, Tyler (Nicole Sheeley), Zachary Sheeley, Kristin Gaffney (Joshua Tostlebe), Aaron Gaffney (Sarah), Dalton Gaffney, Morgan Paige, Marcus Paige and Taylor Paige; and his brother Peter Gaffney (JoAnne) of Winthrop. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
