Irene H. Rorabaugh Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irene H. Rorabaugh of Independence, Iowa, who passed away on May 11, 2026 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry Cornelius and Marie Elizabeth Dirksen (Pfister); her husband Eugene Arthur Rorabaugh; her grandson Bryce; and her siblings, Lloyd, Norman, Kenneth, Edwin, Dean and Ione Johnson.

She is survived by: her sister Lois Armknecht (Frank) of Bozeman, Montana; her children, Butch Rorabaugh (Denise) of Winthrop, Sharon Gerhardt (Troy) of Omaha and Jim Rorabaugh of Torrington, Wyoming; her grandchildren, Heather Ware (Ahmad Hassan), Audrey Housel (Jeff), Joesph Rorabaugh-Irwin (Matt), Jesse Rorabaugh, Jacki Rorabaugh (Andrew Yee) and Makayla Gerhardt (Kadeem Letts); and her great grandchildren, Oscar, Brinley, Malia, Teegan and Desmond. She is also survived by Many Nieces & Nephews.
