She is survived by: her former husband Robert Gene Kono; her daughter Kelley Kono (Brian Rohrick) of Oelwein, IA; her grandchildren, Chelsea Nolen and Zach McNeese (Kylie Wilberding); her siblings, Joann Baumgartner of Cedar Falls, IA and Gary Kelley (Darla) of Adel, IA; and her niece Melanie Wirtz (Scott).
