She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenny E. Krattenmaker and Dencil M. Krattenmaker (Wilts); and her sister Cory Champlin. She is survived by: her husband Norbert Heinen of Independence, Iowa; her stepchildren, Lana Heinen and Donald Heinen; her brothers, Kirk Champlin (Jill) of Annandale and Jon Krattenmaker of Darwin, Minnesota; and her siblings-in-law, Michelle Krattenmaker of Darwin, Minnesota and Rick Holt. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and many close friends.
