She is survived by: her daughters, Jill Steigleman (Jeff) of Independence, IA and Lana Leuenberger of Waterloo, IA; her granddaughters, Amanda McCormick and Abigail Cox; her great grandchildren, Andrew, Noah and Olive; her siblings, Timothy Thornton (Beverly) of Cedar Rapids, IA, Patrick Thornton (Mary) of Fort Mill, SC and Martha Mitchell of Mount Vernon, IA; her stepsister Lynn Sidwell (Pete); and her sisters-in-law, Marilyn Thornton, Connie Nicholls and Cheryl Cronan. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
