Marvin Lincoln Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 7, 2025, Marvin Lincoln (Independence, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles W. Lincoln and Irene L. Lincoln (Fry); his siblings, Jerry "Abe" Lincoln, Larry Lincoln and Sandra Forney; and his siblings-in-law, Maxine Lincoln, Fred Sauerbry, Lowell Fritz, Larry Forney and Rusty Gibbs.
He is survived by: his daughters, Becky Foland (Mike) and Debra Weatherington (Loren); his grandchildren, Marissa Stickfort (Matt), Ti Waibel, Tayt Cheatham (Alex), Michael Foland and Dylan Foland; and his siblings, John Lincoln, Marlene Fritz, Linda Kula (Arnie), Ronnie Lincoln (Josie), Wendy Cole (Al), Vicki Gibbs and Dean Lincoln. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends who were touched by his humor.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Reiff Family Center - Independence (216 3rd Ave SE, Independence, IA 50644). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials honoring Marvin's life and legacy may be directed to his daughters, Becky Foland and Debra Weatherington, who will ensure his memory continues to be celebrated with the same love and devotion he gave to all.
