He was predeceased by: his parents, Conrad Schnepf and Sylvia Schnepf (Horak); his son James Schnepf; and his siblings, Bernard Schnepf, Catherine Miller-Weston, Verlius Schnepf, Virginia Schnepf, Hilda Sauer, Jesse Schnepf, Bruce Schnepf and Marilyn Rouse.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Schnepf of Independence, IA; his children, Dennis Schnepf (Panda) of Independence, IA, David Schnepf (Maria) of Evansdale, IA, Jeff Schnepf (Connie) of Hazelton, IA and Brenda Rouse (Tom) of Cedar Rapids, IA; and his daughter-in-law Gloria Schnepf of Finchford, IA. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
