She was predeceased by: her mother Alice Maude Waterhouse (Hunter); her husband Lawrence Smith; her father Roy "Dutch" Waterhouse; her daughter Donna Jones; her grandson Jason Jones; and her siblings, Inez Carpenter and Junior Hatfield.
She is survived by: her daughter Carole Mumm (Donald); her grandchildren, Pamela Mumm, Scott Mumm (Jenna), Angela Jones (Chris), David Jones, Jr., Sara Jones, Billie Rael (Chad) and Jon Chambers (Penny); her great grandchildren, Garret, Gabrielle, Roman, Lola Mumm, Megan Gaffney, Cassie Jones, David Jones, III, Frankie Price, Taylor Price (Kelsin), Jerry Jones, Jr., Makala Dirks (Justin), Isabella, Ryan, Maria, Brandon Rael, Jase, Jack and Tripp Chambers; and her great great grandchildren, Memphis, Marina, Kaiden, Mya, Josie, Jasmine, Aydrien, Davina and Kelsin Price, III.
A funeral service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (115 6th Ave NW, Independence, IA 50644).
Memorials may be directed to the family to be given to various organizations.
