She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Nielsen and Emma Nielsen (Klein); her spouse Burnell Kaye Haven; and her brothers, Frank Nielsen, Jim Nielsen and Wilbur Nielsen.
She is survived by: her sons, Jeffrey Haven (Brenda) of Plano, TX and Matthew Haven (Judy) of Cedarburg, WI; her grandchildren, Courtney Haven (Andy Collins) of Pittsburg, PA, Cory Haven (Esther) of Federal Way, WA, Elisabeth Haven Tracht (Dan) of Plano, TX and Katherine Haven of Lake Stevens, WA; and her great grandchildren, Reagan Collins, Myles Haven, Dylan Tracht, Lanie Tracht and Tyler Tracht.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (512 5th St NE, Independence, IA 50644). A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at the Mt. Hope Cemetery (1954 Lovers Ln Blvd, Independence, IA 50644).
