He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ross and Faye Pierce (Cullison); his brother Charles Pierce; his son-in-law Keith Kazianka; and his brother-in-law Larry Henderson.
He is survived by: his wife Judy of Independence, IA; his children, Robyn Kazianka of Iron Mountain, MI, Rhonda McBain (Donald) of Mt. Horeb, WI, Ryan Pierce (Kimberly) of Streator, IL and Rodney Pierce (Alona) of North Liberty, IA; his grandchildren, Ray, Colin, Carter, Abby, Katherine, Ryne and Ryder; and his siblings, Jerry McFarland (Kimberly) of Lincoln, NE and Barbara Henderson of Versailles, MO. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (512 5th St NE, Independence, IA 50644). A memorial service was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
