He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo "Bunk" H. Haas and Norma J. Haas (Minkler); and his siblings, Cheryl Adams, Roxane Thorpe, Jerry Dean Haas and Leo Haas.
He is survived by: his children, Travis Haas (Heather) of Highlands Ranch, CO and Melissa Beier (Jeff Bierlein) of Westminster, CO; his grandchildren, Noah and Grace Haas; and his brothers, Dennis Adams, Terrill Adams, Terry Haas and Scotty Haas. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Reiff Family Center - Independence (216 3rd Ave SE, Independence, IA 50644). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
