It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven K. Ristvedt (Independence, Iowa), born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on September 30, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Karl Ristvedt and Ann Esther Ristvedt (Alley); his brother-in-law Joseph McKinley; and his nephews, Wade Camlin and David Camlin.

He is survived by : his wife Brenda; his children, Reed Ristvedt (Stacy) of Portland, Erin Roberts (Brian) of Denver, Scott Ristvedt (Amanda) of Independence and Todd Ristvedt (Dawn) of Independence; his grandchildren, Taylor, Kylie and Ella of Oregon; his children, Drake of Independence, Adaralyn of Independence, River of Independence, Madyson of Independence, Morgan of Independence and Mason of Independence; his siblings, Randi Everett (Phil) of Rock Island, Cindy McKinley of Evergreen and Curtis Ristvedt of Cedar Falls; his parents-in-law, Betty and William Lindstrom of Ottumwa; and his sisters-in-law, Karen Vickers (David) of Clinton and Kris Pezley (Jerry) of Pella. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
