He is survived by : his children, Mark Nielsen (Donna) of Independence, David Nielsen (Mary) of Atlanta and Diane Evans (Roy) of Aberdeen; and his sister Patricia Haven of Independence. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
