He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Wood; his son Jeffery Wood; his parents, Curtis Wood and Reta Wood; and his brothers, Gerald, Curtis and Richard Wood.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tamera Orta of Martensdale and Sandra Christensen (Jeffry) of St. Charles; his sister Audrey Strawn (Charles) of St. Charles; his grandchildren, Noah Orta, Andrew Orta (Samantha), Broc Christensen and Devin Christensen (Courtney); and his great grandchildren, Graciella Orta, Ricardo Orta, Lila Christensen and Kole Christensen.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Martensdale, Iowa.
