It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Becky Eileen Sponsler of Indianola, Iowa, who passed away on October 18, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Sr. Anderson and Elva Anderson; and her brother Mark Anderson. She is survived by: her husband Bill Sponsler; her children, Christina Sponsler (Kyle Cramer) and Andrew Sponsler; her grandchildren, Caden, Austin and Kasey; her siblings, Calvin Anderson Jr. (Joyce), Bruce Anderson (Patti), Mervin Anderson and Colleen Anderson; and her sister-in-law Cindy Anderson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Overton Funeral Home (501 W Ashland Ave, Indianola, IA 50125). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church (2214 E 2nd Ave, Indianola, IA 50125).
Memorials in memory of Becky may be given to Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church or Helping Hand in Indianola.
