She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna Charvat of Garden Plain, Kansas. and Antony Charvat (Tony); and her brother Donald Charvat. She is survived by: her children, Rick Knoblauch, Debbie Kelly (Fran) and Shari Peterson (Robert); her grandchildren, Francis Kelly IV, Elton Peterson, Matthew Kelly, Jonathan Kelly and Luke Peterson; her husband Dave; her sister Jeanette Kerschen; and her in-laws, Eileen Dudney, James Knoblauch, Betty Burback and Jeanette Becker. She is also survived by 24 in-laws, 75 nieces and nephews, and many, many great-nieces, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. John the Apostle Catholic Church (720 Orchard Hills Dr, Norwalk, IA 50211). A rosary will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
