It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Lamphear of Indianola, Iowa, who passed away on November 7, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Ronald Lamphear; his stepfather John Scott; and his granddaughter Avery Lamphear. He is survived by: his mother Bernadette Scott; his wife Paula Lamphear; his daughters, Jessica Gallun (Ed), Briana Lamphear (Darian Thomas) and Alaina Peterson (Ben); his grandchildren, Izzy Richarde, Evalyn, Nora Peterson of Kansas City, KS, Raymond Thomas and Gianna Thomas of Manhattan, KS; his sisters, Susan Howard, Rose Bowman and Kathy Hagar (Mike); and his siblings-in-law, Amy Peterson, Eve Stephens and Joseph Sharpnack.
