She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Allen and Dorothy Allen; her brothers, Steven and Leslie Allen; and her son-in-law Dr. John Kim.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Lawrence Ruble; her children, Katherine (Thomas Wilson) and Dr. Matthew Ruble (Josh Todd); and her grandchildren, Anya (Jonathan Green) and Elias Sullivan-Kim (Olivia Sullivan-Kim).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Indianola First United Methodist Church (307 W Ashland Ave, Indianola, IA 50125). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at the Ackworth Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Simpson College or the First United Methodist Church of Indianola.
