Dwight Floyd Freeman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dwight Floyd Freeman of Indianola, Iowa, who passed away on June 23, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Freeman and Dorothy Freeman (Wicker); his daughter Mollie Alcorn; his sister Juanita Dykstra (Robert); and his sister-in-law Barbara Freeman.
He is survived by: his wife Marcie; his children, Michael Freeman, Tom Hess (Sue) and Tami Jones (Lamont); his grandchildren, Andrew Hess, Megan Hess, Jackson Hess and Jeremiah Jones; his brothers, Don Freeman (Linda) and Austin Freeman (Sheila); and his sister-in-law Michele Walker (Dennis). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials in memory of Dwight can be given in his memory to Taylor House Hospice, Friends of Warren County Conservation or to The Warren County Historical Society of which Dwight's father was one of the founding members.
