We announce the death of Franklin Lewis Wilson in Indianola, Iowa, who passed away on June 30, 2026, at the age of 90. Franklin will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Wilson and Mildred Wilson (Vertz); his former wife Charlotte Wiley; and his sister Berthamaie Newsmen. He is survived by: his son Phillip Wilson; his wife Karen Hogue; his son Ramond Wilson; his stepson Russell Johnson; and his grandchildren, Arron Johnson (Naomi), Christina Steele (Travis), Hunter Wilson (Rebecca), Lauren Wilson and Cole Wilson. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Kiya Koda Humane Society of Indianola, Iowa.
