He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Overton Funeral Home (501 W Ashland Ave, Indianola, IA 50125). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
