She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Howard and Anna Howard (Nichols); her husband Jim; and her sister Glady. She is survived by: her children, Matthew Elmore (Liz Gray), Martin Elmore and Jayma Sandquist (Russell); her grandchildren, Bill Gray, Lindsey Bembli, Keanan Elmore (Sarah), Graham Sandquist (Keely), Berkley Sandquist (Amaya) and Wilson Sandquist (Faith); her great grandchildren, Kaydence, Deklan and Rylee Elmore; her grandchildren, Shepherd, Eden, Olive Sandquist, Rowan, Stratton and Emma Sandquist; and her sister Gail Freie (Bob).
Visitation was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Grace Evangelical Free Church (108 N Jefferson Way, Indianola, IA 50125). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Grace Church (108 N Jefferson Way, Indianola, IA 50125). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Elkhart Cemetery.
