With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Jean Schooler (Indianola, Iowa), born in Mercer, Missouri, who passed away on May 2, 2026 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Helen shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Helen farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin Covey and Faralene Covey (Kinnison); and her husband John Phillip Schooler (J. P.). She is survived by: her children, Jim of Indianola, IA. and Cindy Schooler of Edgerton, KS; her grandson Brett Schooler (Samantha); and her great grandchildren, McKenzie and Zarriah.
Memorials in memory of Helen may be given to the Cancer and Heart Association.
