With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Lee Ripperger of Indianola, Iowa, who passed away on June 13, 2023 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Bernard Ripperger and Leota Ripperger; his parents-in-law, Philip and Barbara Davitt; his sister Berdeana; his grandson Nicholas; and his friend Preston Pettit.

He is survived by : his wife Helen Davitt; his children, Jennifer Leech (Andy), Jessica Danielson (Jason), Jaime Young (Matt) and Joe Ripperger (Amanda); his grandchildren, Hannah Sickels (Jake), Kate Clutter (Elijah), Liz Leech (Jared Sickels), Anna Young, Drew Danielson, Lauren Danielson, Ryan Young and Drake Ripperger; and his siblings, Mike Ripperger, Debbie Vetters (Bill), Stan Ripperger (Cyndi) and Roger Ripperger (Sheila). He is also survived by two brothers in law, and two sisters in law.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Jerry Ripperger Memorial, to be used at a later time for causes close to his heart and wildlife conservation.
