He is survived by: his wife Miriam; his sons, James (Pamela), Gregory and Stephen (Roberta); his stepchildren, Rick Schmitz (Esther) and Jennifer Kim (Bill); his grandchildren, Scott, Katie, Jessica, Bailey, Aaron and Zachary; his great grandchild Elizabeth; and his siblings, Joan, John and Jean.
During the pandemic, Jim and Miriam would watch their favorite pastors on TV or online when going to church wasn't possible.
