He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Vermace and Anna Mae Vermace; and his wife Patricia Vermace. He is survived by: his children, Micheal Vermace (Heidi) and Fayth Day (Shane); his grandchildren, Cole, Alie (Anthony), Parker, Madalyn and Raelyn; his great grandchild Autumn; and his siblings, Karl Vermace and Anna Mary Alliss.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Overton Funeral Home (501 W Ashland Ave, Indianola, IA 50125). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Redeemer Lutheran Church (1410 W Boston Ave, Indianola, IA 50125). A burial was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at the Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery (7601 Fleur Dr, Des Moines, IA 50321).
